The piston engines are built around redundant full authority digital engine control: one power lever per engine, percent power displayed on an integrated Garmin G1000 NXi, no manual mixture control, no magneto ignition, no manual priming, no prop control lever, no manual runup, no cowl flaps. Maintenance runs off downloaded recorded data and fault codes with pre-emptive diagnostics. The engines burn unleaded and globally available jet fuel with extended maintenance intervals.
