It supports, accompanies and accelerates innovation projects at the Upper Austrian technology location — spin-offs from universities and research institutions, startup incubation, and corporate open innovation pairing young companies with established industry. SIX PROGRAMMES. IDEATE for early-phase projects; ACTIVATE for developing mature ideas into minimum viable products; INCUBATE for scaling from MVP to a successful startup; Business2Excellence for market launch, series transition, follow-on financing, sales and internationalisation; PIER4 for networking and open innovation between industry and startups; and a dedicated tourism, hotel and leisure incubator. FOCUS AREAS: hardware, greentech, medtech, and a SHEtech2b network for female founders. It runs the EDISON award for Upper Austrian innovation, with an annual ceremony.
